Then that isn't your issue, you need to update your directx, you can do so from the web setup located here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/...aspx?id=35

if that doesn't work, try the full pack from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/...px?id=8109

In the more recent versions of PCSX2 I noticed some flickering in some games. For example, Ashe's 3rd limit breaker, if you look in the background, you can see it flickering. I don't know if it's the newest nvidia drivers or PCSX2.

Notice the squares in the background. It gets a bit worse but those are what I captures while taking the snap shot because it flickers too fast. It is also constant.

Edit: used an old version and it's still there. so it must be the new drivers Sad

Yeah it's a known issue with the new drivers. It seems like Nvidia is on a mission to break PCSX2 whenever it can.

They think emulation is illegal or something, according to what some people said in the nvidia thread who had opened support tickets with them.

ManualG has said they cant and wont accept bug reports in reguards to pcsx2 do to need a "bios" or "iso" and unless we can show said bugs in a PC game nothing will happen.

I pretty much gave up reporting the issues,

Its cop out, nothing Illegal if they dump there own BIOS and make iso of there own games.

And i refuse to believe no ONE of the nvidia dev's Dont have ps2 or ps2 games.

It makes sense though, as it's quite the hassle to debug/test. I would've assumed normal to have a test that shows the problem if you want a fix for it.

Yeah, it's just that they won't accept PCSX2 related reports. Only if the same problem happens in a PC game and you can show it in the PC game.
