It might sound obvious, but I wanted to know why. In both cases, the emulator is rescaling it to 1080p or whatever in a computer. So how is it possible that it looks better? Is it because it's 3x the resolution of the game and by result it's a better res on the NTSC version? And if that's the case, shouldn't it be more demanding for the PC? And is there any way of making the PAL version look like the NTSC one?

I was trying the original 44A61C8F.pnach and didn't see much change. I'll try this extra code, should I delete the original Silent's code or just paste this after Silent's? Thanks!
Edit: AMAZING! I've pasted the code after Silent's and now it's working. Wow, it looks almost like the NTSC-U version right?
It is better to use only one version. You can compare the two codes yourself and i personally only use Agrippa's version, but a big thumbs up to both of them. I can not test the NTSC version because i do not have that version unfortunately. Anyway, i am glad you are happy and many many credits to Agrippa and Silent and all our programmers!
BTW guys, should I keep DeInterlacing off? Because if I do so, the image shakes in the menus a lot. I am now using it in automatic and I don't seem to find any issue.

If you only use Agrippa's codes and no others, you can/must set De-interlacing to None, because his last code is a no interlacing code and should actually work. The only thing that still shakes are the FMV's (unfortunately i do not know a solution for this ). Are you still using the latest dev builds (https://pcsx2.net/downloads/) to stay up to date?
