im playing an ISO image. before, I tried a DVD i got from a friend but it was the PAL verion so I had to get an NTSC one since the PAL isn't supported.

Good, ISO is better way to go. I play PAL version and had no problems with it, so you can try it.

For the lags I'm not sure what could cause them. Are they appearing in other games to? Are you using speedhacks? Maybe try to play with configuration little more.

I already tried to create an ISO from the PAL version. Had the same problems.

No matter, what speedhacks I use, I always have the same lags. without speedhacks, the fps are a bit lower, but the lags are the same.

If there is no problem with other PS2 and PC games, I really don't know. You can try to uninstall Pcsx2, delete remaining folders and config files, even clean registry (that is risky, be careful).

I just recently installed windows 7 and the emulator. i'm doing almost nothing else than playing games on this PC =/ can someone please post all the emu settings i should use? =/

Speed isn't perfect for me but it's playable. Looks great with the D3D internal res set high, ideal for videos.

Hey guys,

I have a macbook pro, 2.66 i7 with 4gb of ram, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M.
Has anybody gotten their macbook pro to work with GT4; if so, what was needed to be done to run it? Is it even possible with my computer? I've searched everywhere, and downloaded enough files to believe that I have everything needed, it's just that I'm probably doing one or two things wrong. Thanks for your help!

EDIT: I also have Windows 7 64bit as well, and tried both mac and pc versions of pcsx2...

GT4 runs.....but I would think that w/ my system, I could get a bit more fps. My system is:

- Phenom II 965 3.4ghz
- 4gb RAM
- Geforce gtx 460 1gb

I'm just trying to run GT4 at 1280 x 720, and for one the fps doesn't seem very good, and second it just seems like the graphics have this "muddy" effect. Can anyone help? I'm using the newest beta, settings to default, speedhacks I have on are INTC Spin and Wait Loop.
