I didn't use PowerIso to mount, just to create an iso image of my GT4 DVD.
ok, the best I did is:
scaling 3x
EE Cyclerate 3
INTC
Wait Loop Detection
superVU is good, but give so much lags.
VU hacks down fps.
now, I'm playing 34~44 fps... and the image is cool.
anything else?
thanks a lot!

idk if you can do something else... be sure the gpu isnt the limit in your fps (try putting x2 and look if it gets faster) also i hope you followed ALL of the staff i said
last you can try overclocking your cpu by 0,4 or 0,6 at least but for that you should search google

I've made all the settings as told, but in the pcsx2 r-1888 version (romastation version), there is an option (Run iso image) that there's not in the last version of pcsx2 (run cd/dvd or open elf file) and in order to open the game, the only way i've found is to open it with the ISO file. Any ideas ? Thx

Pick the iso by using CDVD > iso selector

better use official versions instead of crap found on the net.

All 'repacks' or 'unofficial versions' I've seen on the interenet were crap. They either came bundled with BIOS (so illegal too) or had some ridiculous hacks by default on (stating omgz our version is 800% faster!!!111onoeoneone, who cares if 80% of games don't boot) or they just simply steal the PCSX2 team's work claiming the emulator is theirs.
So in a nutshell, the unofficial package would be strange NOT to be crap.

While it's better to start with an official version, you can't possibly describe every unofficial package as crap. No need for such comment really, unless you KNOW this specific package IS crap...
Thank you for your comment, but I think I know what I'm talking about.
