First off, try pressing F9 to see if it's still there in software mode.

Yes press F9 during emulation. this will switch the graphics mode torender using the software instead of your GPU itself. Software is the most accurate form of graphic processing on PCSX2. F9 is used to switch between software and dedicated during emulation.

When I do that the gameplay slows down IMMENSELY.
