[LIST] Games that don't need a strong CPU to emulate!
Zombie Hunters 1+2 (Oneechanbara 1+2)

God, i love these games, slahsing and slicing zombies with a katana is so much fun.

(note: both games run most of the time at 200% turbo pretty well, so i dont think a powerful cpu is necessary to run the games at full speed)
Intel 486 DX33 33Mhz
8MB EDO Ram
S3 Graphics Trio64V+
Windows 95
Running MGS3 Snake Eater fully playable @ 0.05 fps

By "200% turbo", you mean 200% of full seed?

You could try the game(s) at 2.5Ghz, right...?

Naruto Ultimate Ninja 5 used to run at 25-30FPS on my old Celeron D3.2Ghz=1.6DualCore
the graphics card was however Ati Radeon HD4650 512mb and
Red Dead Revolver was always ~30FPS with slight speedhacks i.e. 1.5 EEcycle rate INTC Spin Detection & Wait Loop Detection.
Both were run at NATIVE Resolution.

you cant compare a single core cpu with a dual core cpu, specially when they are also different technology, whats in common in a celeron and a dual core?..... nothing?

Also when you have a dual core you have 2 CPUs but the cycles aren't synchronous and besides PCSX2 only uses one CPU for EE and another for GS. On your Celeron you could only do one cycle at a time for everything which is why you only got 25-30 FPS Tongue.

The architecture is different from every CPU generation which makes it difficult to compare CPUs directly but the best ways to measure their exact peak performance is in terms of integer and floating point. Dhyrstone and Whetsone benchmarks.
CPU: Pentium D 'Presler' 915 2.8 ghz 2x2MB L2 @ 3.5 ghz
GPU: eVGA [Nvidia] 8600GT 256MB SSC DDR3
Tested: FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, MGS3, KH, KH2, The Hobbit NTSC
PCSX2 FTW! Biggrin

It's because that game requires a very strong CPU to run fine, this is a list of games that DON'T need a strong CPU.
