I've tried pcsx2 0.9.9r0 (PPA version) on ubuntu precise with AMD 5650 catalyse 12.6 and it works fine.
Only problem I found is low FPS (test on FFX-2 and Rogue Galaxy) with OpenGL (Software) since OpenGL (Hardware) still experimental (black screen with sound) which run fine on Windows7(DX11).
I guess I have to give developer a time. There are no fix right now, right?
It can't find libCg.so which is already installed.
Here's error on pcsx2 console:
Code:
[wx] libCg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Path: /usr/lib/games/pcsx2/libzzogl-0.4.0.so
File is not a valid dynamic library.

nvidia-cg-toolkit is install correctly from software center and here's output from cginfo:

After test on FFX-2 and Rogue Galaxy. here what I've got
FFX-2 : CG Movie unwatchable (glitch everywhere) with constant 50 FPS.
Rogue Galaxy : Some texture glitch and lower FPS than GSDX opengl software renderer.
I just want to provide developer more information.
OK now let's wait for gsdx hardware port to complete.

Just tried the last PPA version and it crashed xorg (100% process) :-/ --> can not even open virtual TTY; can only reboot by ssh.
My new graphic card, AMD radeon 7850 should give honest results with PCSX2 if it was better supported by PCSX2.
I join you the log file, if it could help. Thanks.
Just update to 1.0.0 this morning and here the newest thing I've found.
I've disable speedhacks and all game run at 80-100% with no graphical issue which is total playable(gsdx opengl software), but got this ingame crash at most of time.
I am running ubuntu 14.10 and i cant get the emulator to run on GSdx this is what I have:
glxinfo |grep -i opengl

And how can I get GSdx to run on PCSX2.

So how can I get PCSX2 to run I'm sure there's a way to do so.
