Right area?

I decided to dl some saves that are in .max format and found mymc.

Anyone else use it? If so, did you have problems about a missing DLL known as "msvcr71.dll".

Additionally, the gui mode throws this as an error log:

Code:
Usage: C:\"PATH TO MYMC"\mymc-alpha-2.5\mymc-gui.exe [-ih] memcard.ps2 command [...]

C:\"PATH TO MYMC"\mymc-alpha-2.5\mymc-gui.exe: error: Incorrect number of arguments.

Can anyone assist here? (Win XP Home)

Just download the Visual Studio runtimes it needs ( I guess it is noted somewhere in the readme or in the requirements of the program)

From the mymc site:
Quote:Requirements

The Windows release of mymc requires the April 2006 DirectX update. You can download and install all of the DirectX updates using Microsoft's DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer. If you're using Windows 98 or Windows ME then you may also need UNICOWS.DLL, and GDIPLUS.DLL. If necessary download and copy these files to the same directory you unpacked mymc.

The Python release optionally requires wxPython. It will work without it, but the GUI mode won't be available.

I have all of the requirements that they listed (sans-win98 and below requirements)

It doesn't mention any special VS run times.

Are you sure that you looked correctly after the first error. The next file that he want is msvcp71.dll

It also want d3dx9_30.dll but that is really old directx file so I doubt that you don't have it.

I'm getting an error screen pop-up for a split second (I've had to open MYMC multiple times to catch a SS of it, attached below) that reads:
"
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "e:\util\python25\lib\site-packages\py2exe\boot_common.py" line 92 in <module>
ImportEror: no module named linecache
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "mymc.py" line 13 in <module>
ImportError: no module named os
"
I need help getting mymc to work. can anyone help?
