Need help with PCSX2 Action Replay codes
#1
Hi guys,

I've been struggling to get Action Replay MAX codes to work for Tekken Tag
Tournament (USA) and thought I'd ask here first. I would greatly appreciate
it if anyone could help me out.

Here's a run down of what I've done so far:

Located game ID: 67454C1E

Enabled cheats on PCSX2

Created Cheats folder in Program files - PCSX2

Located Action Replay Codes for Tekken Tag (please copy and paste the below link to see the codes):

http://us.codejunkies.com/search/codes/T...13___.aspx

Downloaded Omniconvert to convert codes from ARM to "Uncrypted Standard" format.

Created a .PNACH file as "67454C1E.pnach" with Action Replay codes.

Result: 0 Codes loaded. I must be writing out the codes incorrectly

Basically, I'd like to change the fighting style of player 1.
"Player 1 moves codes" to another character.

Again, I'd appreciate any help. Reading out Action Replay codes is a foreign
concept to me...

this will do
all you now need is the codes.

but you need omniconvert to do this.
see attachment.

remarks:
what you mean P1 moves codes to the another character what "specific" and "exact" codes????

This is the first code that comes up at the top of the page, I assume this is the
enable code?

From the below codes, how would I select "First character always uses moves from - ANNA" ?

When I try to use the codes you provided, the PCSX2 log can't load the codes.
On the right, is how I wrote the converted codes in the pnach file.

Cheats are enabled and I made sure to save my pnach file in both My Documents
Cheats folder for PCSX2 and Local Disc - Program Files - PCSX2 - Cheats

Update: so I had a bit of progress. Still can't get the codes to work.
But the Pnach file has been recognized.

The cheat PNACH file is now being recognized.

none of the ones for this game from there seem to be working, or maybe i'm doing something wrong? i dont know. i'm setting omni to code master cheats input, i've tried both versions and still no luck.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I'll give your suggestions a try shortly.

I did see a few videos on youtube of people using some OPL programs
such as a program with a name like PS2ND or something like that.
I've also heard mixed reviews over such programs.

Will update this thread if I have any luck.

There are few things I want to tell you
1.ARMAX codes are 99% of the time especially in thay site for PAL games
2.From your link,do you see platform category...it says Dreamcast
3.
Quote:Update: still no more replies?
Watch your backs, PCSX2 forum. Watch your backs...
No one is forced here to help anyone
4.The link smartstrike posted has codes for your version of the game and the codes are using CodeBreaker v1 encryption so you have to decrypt them first

And just as info,OPL is a program that you use on your PS2 to allow you to play games from internal hdd, flash drive or over lan and the other program is probably the one that allows you to use cheats...again on your PS2

Tekken Tag Tournament was never released on Dreamcast. It must be a small
technical error on the website's part or part of a third-party hacking product
released quite some time ago. It did raise a few red flags.

As for my last remark, please take it with a grain of salt. I'll update my previous
out of character response (the result of a very brief rage-induced response
while trying to wrap my head around Emulation Hacking).

.In truth, whether we find a positive solution or not, I don't wish ill will on
anyone nor do I condone this type of behavior (the cliche Internet Tough Guy)
in any environment.

UPDATE: I got the codes to work.

If you use Omni convert with CODEBREAKER codes (all makes 1-7) it works
quite well.
