They aren't really ported (or any A LOT newer).
And they won't help with SSO unfortunately. Also, I wonder two things:

Old driver are full of bug. Even if you find one with a working SSO (which I doubt as the issue is 5 year old at least), you will get crash or corruption due to others issues.

Sometimes bugs get fixed, other times they get added, who knows
More than anything, my most realistic wonder would be finding which driver version we should at least mandate
