Is it enough info?

well, the cpu is a low budget single core amd (if i'm not mistaken) and your gpu is an integrated solution. both are very weak for pcsx2 and i highly doubt that you will get stable and playable fps values with that system, but try the latest beta of pcsx2 and plugins from this forum anyway, set your gsdx to native, run the game as an iso image directly from your hdd with linuziso cdvd and enable some or even all speed hacks.

Yeah, it was really cheap is why we use such a crappy computer, it was like 160 or so.

What is gsdx?

And what do you mean by run from hdd?
Reply
#15
gsdx is the graphics plugin. just go to options and put a little checkmark by "Native resolution"
Rip the disc to an iso (that will be on your hdd (hard drive)).
Reply
#16
Oh, I already ripped the disc to a iso on the hard drive. I'll change the graphics though.

First off I can't find this, second off what graphic version should I use?

I killed the sound and it sped up on average by about 10-15%.

What can't you find? If you want to edit the settings for the graphics plugin (GSdx), open PCSX2 and go "Config > Graphics".
You should probably use the latest revision of GSdx, which you can get here. Download it, extract it, and put the .dll files into the plugins folder, inside the PCSX2 folder.

...you managed to kill the sound, but couldn't find where to configure the graphics plugin?

I didn't kill the sound on purpose, was on accident. But the game ran faster because of it so I left it off.

What setup should I use?

Have you been reading the posts aimed at you? 2 people have given you some helpful configs...

In GSdx:
- Check the "Native" box for D3D internal res
- Check the "Allow 8-bit textures" box

In Speedhacks:
- Set EmotionEngine (EE) Sync Hacks to "Use x2 Cycle Rate"
- Set "VU Cycle Stealing" to moderate (2 notches)

Try that config and tell us if it helps, or gives you problems.
If that doesn't make the game playable enough, you can try enabling more speedhacks, but with your machine you may not get fully playable speeds throughout the game.

THere is no 'Native' box in GSDx, no allow 8-bit textures. I have all speedhacks on, but there is no VU Cycle Stealing either.
