Is there any way you guys could make a widescreen patches for Shinobido & Syphon Filter : The Omega Strain & The Warriors ?

I got two question to ask too :
1) How do i remove the black border ?

2) Will the widescreen patches work on alternate version of the game like final fantasy x international & final fantasy xii international zodiac job system ?

@devina40

You seem to have Persona 4 NTSC-U so I'd like your help if possible, or anyone else who has P4 or P3 FES and 5 minutes to spare. I'm trying to patch NTSC-J versions' character portraits but nemesis isn't responding. Basically this is all I need you to do

1 Mount the ISO as usual

2 Explore the contents and extract the ELF file somewhere (looks like SLUS_###.##)

3 Open the ELF file in ps2dis

4 Go to Edit > Jump to address

5 Type "00104680" if you have P4 USA or "00106e30" if you have P3 FES USA and hit enter

6 You will see results like the picture I've attached below, just tell me the hex value at that address and the 10 hex values below it (not the addresses)

First off, sorry for all my questions Sad But I have another one.

I know the value is stored at a 3xxx range and changes a lot in Shadow Hearts 2 (Covenant) so it's not possible to patch it - only to use the widescreen helper, which sadly, I find to be more trouble than it's worth. What I want to know is like, is it possible to patch without the widescreen helper, or no way, notta, not ever?

I ask because I want to do an HD walkthrough of the game but I don't want to go through all the trouble of recording it only to find out that a patch was released afterwards xD

Thanks for your reply! Oh, and also, thank you for your FFX/X-2 patches!

Doesn't using the code require the widescreen helper, and thus you would have to keep constantly changing the values yourself? I'm sorry, I'm a little confused about the ELF hack thing.
