For some reason this widescreen patch for WWE SvR isn't working anymore. Always had it in cheats_ws folder.

If you're using latest nightly, "cheats_ws" and "cheats_ni" folders are no longer functional. Instead all of it goes to "cheats" or "patches" folder now.

I have the pcsx2 nightly version I put the various files for widescreen both in the cheats_ws folder and in the patches folder ... inside the program in the folder directory I tried to target both cheat_ws and patches but nothing remains the image stretched ...

PCSX2 Nightly no longer uses "cheats_ws" directory, it's all under one "cheats" folder now.
And what's your version of PES 2008 you have? NTSC-U or PAL? If it's PAL, which region?

Just so you know, the WS patch is only for original release (so no support for the modded ones).

Ok today I'll let you know everything.. also because I'm not that expert... one thing: can you confirm that for the nightly version the files go in the cheats folder not in the patch folder? A thousand thanks

In Twisted Metal - Head-On [Extra Twisted Edition] SCUS-97621 the WS patch has a major bug.

When I activate the WS patch, after a cutscene is done playing, the game's image is cropped/zoomed-in for the rest of the level.
For it to not happen you have to skip a cutscene at any point before it ends and transitions into gameplay.
This happens with every single cutscene in the game that transitions to gameplay. (So the intro stage cutscene, the two Cousin Eddy's stage cutscenes and the two Dark Tooth stage cutscenes.)
It happens only if I use the WS patch and with any combination of configs I could try, even just the default ones.
Even if it was set in 16:9 on both the game aspect ratio and FMV ratio, or left on their default, or only one of those two on default or etc.

This bug is especially a bummer for the intro stage because sadly if you don't let the entire intro play, the track "Disaster Proof" by the band "LeVel" doesn't start like in the cutscene and instead it plays one of the other BGM tracks of the stage.

Hi guys. I'm trying to get widescreen working properly with Ratchet & Clank 1 (SCUS-97199) on PCSX2. I'm using the latest nightly build of the emulator. I've enabled Enable Widescreen Patches in Graphics options. The game screen is stretched. My display is a 16:9 LG 4K OLED TV. Everything else runs perfectly except for the stretched image... the game plays at a full 60 FPS with no other issues. I can't seem to find a widescreen cheat for R&C either. Is this one of those games that you just can't get correct aspect ratio working under PCX2?
