PCSX2CE: PCSX2 Cheat Converter / Patch File Editor
Hello, sorry to bother you but i have a big trouble.

I was creating some pnach files for armored core 3 and everything was working fine, searching on forums i've found pcsx2ce and omniconvert and i managed to put tons of codes into armored core 3.
I hit a wall, by the way, when i tried to convert these codes

Code:
All Optional Parts
DEB1CB4E BDAA9C83
DEB1CB4A BDAA9C84
DEB1CB56 BDAA9C84
DEB1CB52 BDAA9C84
DEB1CB5E BDAA9B84
DEB1CB5A BCA99C84

into raw. They apparently don't fit into action replay 1/2/Max category of omniconvert->they don't work ingame, even though on the site they are listed under "action replay" category. Can somebody help me identify these kind of codes or direct me to a raw conversion?
Thanks in advance!

I keep getting unamed cheat, in omniconvert, did as told before, surprise they don't work.
Silent hill 4 Pal, you left a lot of things out for someone who's doing this for the first time,
IE they're ar max or unencrypted. not a very good tut i think.

Regarding the crc code, where does it begin at the A? 8 characters?

The the code in the input side don't have a name above the cheat,omniconvert will automatically add unamed in the output side.

You may take a look at this tool if this one looks too hard for you.

If anyone else here is struggling with the first explanation, ie it left out to many details, i'll post a step by step, instruction, either that or it will help me in case i forget how to do it again and need to refer to it.

first find CRC code by starting up the game and look in console.

head for code junkies and find the relevant cheat for your game, make a note if it's PAL or NSTC, obvious reasons

next open Omniconvert and paste those cheats into the left pane,
make a note of what version of action replay you are using IE version 1, 2 or AR max, click input and tick AR max or vice versa, then click output unencrypted and tick standard. and then convert.

Open up PCSX2CE and paste the converted codes into its left pane,
enter the 8 digit crc code as directed and the games name,
make a note of where it's saving it and click convert.
Once that is done locate it and place in the cheats folder

Make sure you have cheats checked in pcsx2,
you'll have proof that it's working by checking the console

And...?
What exactly is the problem?
The codes are not raw so to be able to use them,you have to first decrypt them with omniconvert.

If you just copy the code part without the code description,when you convert the codes,omniconvert will automatically add "Unnamed Cheat" since the cheat must have name(at least when you use those codes on real ps2).

So after converting that ARMAX code(you don't need the master code)
Infinite Health
DBXZ-7BY7-0JMVM
6R6Y-74P7-U081B
PENF-JTDB-AD0BQ
Y5U5-JE1G-PE9VJ

you will get

Infinite Health
2045CDC8 42C80000
20626C14 42C80000
20626C18 42C80000

and then convert it to pnach format,you will get
gametitle=Silent Hill 4:The Room
//Infinite Health
patch=1,EE,2045CDC8,extended,42C80000
patch=1,EE,20626C14,extended,42C80000
patch=1,EE,20626C18,extended,42C80000

Then you just have to click on the save button after inserting the CRC in the CRC input box and you're done.

Edit:
I still don't get it.
What exactly is the problem.You have the codes converter correctly and when you click on the save button,a file on your desktop will be created which you have to place in the cheats folder located in the pcsx2 directory

Hello fuzzymillipede, I have just dl the PCSX2CE, but whenever I try to Save, it shows that the CRC number is not valid for every game I try to create cheats. The CRC numbers are numbers I wrote down from the console window (Program log) after I load the games. I really have no idea. Please give me a hand, thanks!

Did you include the "0x" at the start of the CRC? Remove it.

Idk what I'm doing wrong

I already converted them to raw format with omniconvert

these are the raw format I inputted in the pcsx2ce
Infinite Money
2083A6DC 00989680

Gain 200 EXP After Battle
201FBF70 00000000
201FBF78 240200C8

to

//Infinite Money
patch=1,EE,2083A6DC,extended,00989680

//Gain 200 EXP After Battle
patch=1,EE,201FBF70,extended,00000000
patch=1,EE,201FBF78,extended,240200C8

But it's still not working for my Persona 3 game, they found the cheat and it say its loaded but then when the game starts it doesn't work.
