[PROBLEM]Star Ocean Till The End of Time[PROBLEM]

Hi, I've just started playing star ocean till the end of time and its the first time i have ever came to a problem using pcsx2... Every time i open a treasure chest the game ups and freezes on me... I have the game fix enabled but it still freezes on me, my screen just turns black... HELP please

I also get this red thingy

Remake your iso or try playing directly from your disc.

1.If you have cheats enabled,disable them
2.Save to the memory card
3.Restart pcsx2 and load the memory card save

Thank you guys so much! Thanks for the fast replies as well! I greatly appreciate it, but for the time being everything is going fine. Is there a way i can get a money cheat without bugging the game though?

Anyone know why my controller stops responding at times when i'm playing Star Ocean?

Yeah it is, it works fine when i play ffx. the controller has never not function on me before until i started playing star ocean. i'm using motioninjoy

can i use that program while using a ps3 controller? plus i dont have blue tooth
