Any chance that PCSX2 will emulate it for historical purposes?

Well, according to this thread, It's impossible due to MagicGate stuff are unemulated for legal reasons (for Namco hardwares at least).

Things are now changed and seems that "Play! emulator" started support System 246 and 256 games, any chance to have it supported on pcsx2 too ?
