Yeah it's basically the exact same controller, with the option to go wireless over bluetooth.
PS3 controllers are preferable since it's a straight up USB connection, no funky adapter required. But if you don't have one then you don't have one, you're not missing out on anything lol.

when i used my ps2 controller for n64 emulation i could not set those buttons to seperate actions.
a bug? i was sure its a limitation of the controller.

It may be the n64 emulator didn't care to differentiate between them, or the adapater you had. With pcsx2 it's fine.

hm, thanks for the info. im using a Pelican adapter, ill see what i can dig up to try and pinpoint the issue.

the ones they sell at radio shack are 15$ bucks and work awesome.
When I get some extra cash I want to find one that supports rumble. Speaking of which does pcsx2 support rumble?
