Oh sorry, misunderstanding. I said : when code is very long (like in MGS), it's best to create a PPF patch. Example : if you make MGS-RU code, a PPF is better than GS/AR code.

So in fact there is practically no need for GS / AR codes, because you can use PPF patches...

But some users - like demilich - use GS/AR codes with their cheats module with original discs. If you give a PPF patch, he will have to make a backup of his original game and patch it - while he could he GS/AR codes.
Well, don't bother to much, if you like better to guve here PPF matches, feel free and I will add them to archive.

But he will have to make "corrected" copies of disks for games like MGS in any cases (where there are many addresses responsible for Dithering). And even more difficult to "manually" find all these addresses without missing any. It is necessary to play the game from beginning to end, without missing anything (this is my personal opinion).

The fact is that it is not so difficult to do this ... Using the instructions that you wrote, makes the task much easier. As an option, you can use my video, if that helps...
I divided the code up so it could be easier for people using gamesharks to follow when copying the code to console, now if only the widescreen code im working on wasnt 30 something lines ofbuggy code. Im definitely going to try this with smoothing on popstarter

Edit Reason: double checked and does work on console i just put code in wrong
)
I find it funny that other than the 3d modeled stadium all the left sided 2d textures are dithered . I thought it was a problem with my scart cable until I tried this method to find the solution
