Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here
[ /code]

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using, such as speed hacks or presets.
  • Your GSdx graphics settings (a picture of the settings dialog is preferred)
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

Thank You.

Well I'm using version 1.4.0. for my emulation settings, its equivalent to preset 4 while having MTVU checked. i have to gamefixes on, with VU clip flag hack and GsDx switch when FMV appears checked.

weird thing is that you have no sign of crash in your log.
I just hope you didn't follow some random YT tutorial made by some random Kevin...

better erase your inis and start with default settings

Nay, infact i took them from this forum, when i first booted p4 on default settings it was super laggy, thats why i resorted to changing emu settings

hm. yes, didn't see that CPU may be a bit weak in some cases.
a few speedhacks could help a bit, but i'm pretty sure too much will break game.
did you try the same from your original DVD instead of iso ?
