UPDATE 1b: Unlock all Mission: 01-06 (inclusive Mission: 07 and Mission: 00)

Works. But only at the start of a new game - in training mode, no.

Icon of Mission 00 overlap the number of credits. And also, apparently, it is impossible to complete, since it is a field (surrounding by black space), being the background for a previews when choosing a weapons set.

Missions 07 and 00 do not have a background image - only a black rectangle (mission 06, suddenly for me, have it).

Possible without problem right at the start of a new game, select missions 05, 06 and 07, thereby reducing the time, which takes to beating the game. If select mission 07 and a set of weapons D, the game can be completed in 48 seconds and faster.

OK, thanks for Checking.I have two Questions:

Question 1: Is it normally possible to save the unlocked Missions 05 and 06 during Gameplay on the Memory Card so that if you load or boot
the Game from anew that they will remain unlocked ?

Queastion 2: Have you beat the Game starting from Mission 01 to the end ? If yes do the unlocked Missions with the Code
remains unlocked every time after reaching next Mission ?

Neo Contra (like Contra Shattered Soldier) does not allow to save during gameplay - only after completion (with loss of all lives or victory) immediately or later in settings menu before disable console. And save only settings, statistics and gotten unlockables.

Are you interested to test my Patch for Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria ?

https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Post-you...#pid595942

If yes do you think the Ground of Sukavia Gorge is too grey ?
You can also check Character Brightness and Shadows whether they have good appearance.
Sorcerer Mithra should be too bright in his Introductory Cutscene, that i know already. But
maybe you can detect other irregularities of any kind.I will revise the Patch some day among other things
hopefully with the ability to get the Einherjar which the Player wants by drawing the sword.I already had little success.
But mostly i would be interested if you think Characters, Levels etc. are to bright/dark or something else is
not properly adjusted.Only if you are interested you can check the Game with the Patch anytime.

I'm in. But since Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria is much longer than Neo Contra, reports will appear less operatively.

I also don't like Blur Effects either, probably more than Shadow Effects i think. On Valkyrie Profile like on Haunting Ground
the Developers exaggerated with these things.Better not to have them or maybe not to much.On my Burnout 3
Patch i left a decent amount of Light Reflections on the Cars.To reduce the Reflections to Zero was also bad idea.
That i have realized in the test phase.

Remove shadows, fix HW render massive fps issues. Shadows aren't working in HW mode anyway, so there is no visual difference (SW mode is fine without patch, shadows work). Patch based on mrjared123 patch for Minna no Golf 4.

Code:

@Maori-Jigglypuff

I got to the second chapter in Valkyrie Profile 2. And this is what I noticed:

* Disabling of AI breaks combat training. During it, the enemy must attack you, but with disabled AI, it does not do this and the game gets stuck. Requires reset, load and enable AI.

* Disabling of blur, shadows and other effect increases game performance if play on office machine (powerful gaming PC don't need in this improvised speedhack).

* When Alicia switches to Silmeria (and vice versa), a black frame appears for a second instead of a white flash. Say hello to "Fight Club".

* In Lost Forest, shadows are still partially works.

* Darkness of the tunnels of Royal Underground Path (especially in the cutscenes) looks like a solid black wall on the way, not a consequence of the smooth fading of light.
