Is it difficult to add special characters to the party, like in the special save? Years ago I managed to add Freya to mine, but she was at level zero and wouldn't appear alive in battle.

It is not possible to have for example special Character Freya at the beginning of a new Game because these Characters
are protected in Conditions.In the special Save i have some special Characters because i acquired them normally during
Gameplay.Once you get them then it is possible to replace them via Cheating with ordinary Characters and vica versa.
But even then it did not always work.Some ordinary Characters have Weapons which are not compatible with the special Characters
and that caused the Game in Battles to freeze.I was too busy with the OTH and Crystal Encryption and many other Things so i did not
elaborate on these Character Manipulation Possibilities.Maybe i will do something at some remote period but no guarantee on that.

I see thank you, I thought maybe character data wasn't initialised until a character actually joins the party. I might have a look later and try to find the routine that does the initialization
This turns out to be Dark Cloud 2's implementation of depth of field which looks kind of terrible when upscaled.
The game has an option to turn it "off" but it really just makes it less aggressive.
So I just found the function that does it and patched it out.

This is my first time posting anything on this site, so if i made any mistakes on this post, please excuse me. I saw that there's been a lot of codes not working for this game so i decided to try and get this working for those who may need working codes for Resident Evil 4 on the PCsx2. These codes work flawlessly on this version, so just make sure you read the codes first, select/deselect the codes you wanna use in the pnach file, then place the pnach file in your cheats directory, then enable cheats on PCSX2 before booting your game up. That's pretty much it and you shouldn't have any issues. Have fun and i hope this helped out the PCSX2 community. Enjoy.
The Mercenaries Unlimited Time and Score codes may not work= Lemme know and i can try to update it for you.
