Problem where black & white effect turns screen black in Smackdown Vs Raw 2010.

There is an entrance scene in the game where there is a screen effect (for those familiar with wrestling, the nWo-effect) that fades the screen into black & white. This effect however just makes the screen go totally black for the entire scene.
Any ideas on solutions?

Using version 0.9.7.

Can I have several versions installed at once? The plugin versions are handled separately right as if they were completely different plugins?
