You may have the same issue as Ectara although you wrote that plugin saved the ini.
But what do you actually mean by "start"? Physical button on wheel or in-game?
Unless your wheel has more than 32 buttons i don't see why it wouldn't work already.
Or wait for v0.3.0

Hello guys I really like the work you're doing! I need some help in order to use this plugin for my wheel (DFGT). The game I'm trying to use with this plugin is TXRD2. When I enter the game nothing happens. The plugin for PAD is lilypad and USB is this. Please help, I really wish to use FFB on TXRD2.

I also would like to add. My settings in the DXInput always reset after I exit the menu. When I go back into the menu all my settings are deleted.

v0.3.0 Are you using latest version? If mappings get reset then it probably is file permission issues.

But the other issue, I'll test the game, probably may have to tune the wheel type code (900° vs 270° etc)

I'm using the latest version that is uploaded on github. I also tried Racer S's DLInput one with no luck. Since you mention it might be a file permission issue. Is there anyway to fix that? I think the wheel might work as it calibrates on start up of the game. I just can't do anything since my settings are not saved.

Should popup a message box where PCSX2 wants to save settings, then try if you can create a file manually there.
