So, i was wondering what would be the minimum requirements to play Gran turismo 4 on PCSX2 with a laptop at PS2 native resolution
I imagine a i7 (or any good quad-core) is required, but what about the graphics card? Have anyone played it with a laptop?

I would say myself, don't bother playing GT4 on a laptop, since the CPU will drag you down bigtime, not to mention the GFX aswell, it's just way too slow compared to a desktop. Now even so that Weeny could play it on 2x Native doesn't mean you can play it decently. Since the i7's of Intel on a Laptop/notebook never goes above 2 ghz. and since the recommended speed for a quadcore is a 3 ghz, you can run the game, but not at full speed. I say this out of the many posts that were here and those were on normal Desktop pc's.

Check my specs, I run GT4 without any problems at full frames, using MTVU hack. I recommend EE set to 2( not necessary, but seems to prevent rare slowdowns )
For me its as simple as what my computer can do and what it cant do. It plays GT4 decently so im happy, do i care if it doesnt play at x6 res? No because im using a Laptop with a Smallish screen.
Bottom line though, i wouldn't go lover than my speck`s or you might find some game's might lag eg SOTC
Msi GF-62VR
Intel core i7 7700hq @2.8(3.5ghz turbo) Nvidia 6gig GTX1060 16 gigs DDr5 windows 10
