Maybe the crashes are caused by the same bug that causes Persona 4 to crash for me randomly in battles and dungeons.
Reading the OFFICAL GUIDE can answer 90% of your newbie questions

I've made a couple of tests, and now i know for sure that rev577Pg causes crashes, the last workable rev-576

Playground version: svn 708
Cpu options: EERec, VU recompilers, MTGS on
GFX: GSdx 0.1.14 SSE41, Direct3D 9H
Sound: SPU2ghz Playground 1.9.0
Control: LilyPad 0.9.6
CD/DVD plugin: Linuz/Pg Iso CDVD 0.8.0
Bios : Europe 1.60

The game seems to work very weel but I can not select the language !
I would like to play in french but the game starts in english only.

Do you know where is my problem ?

Yea, try to change bios language to your own, and the game'll change it too... i think

Yea, try to change bios language to your own, and the game'll change it too... i think

I have already done that.

Double check to make sure that the bios language setting was saved.

Thanks icemann for your help but how do you save the bios language ?

Because when I go to the bios by choosing "CDVD Null Driver", the language is "french"; is it enough ? or it is needed to do otherthing ?

this fixes the crashes in the archer area at the beginning, great work! i just did that part yesterday with lots of save+load and now it's fixed... damn =)
