San Andreas keeps crashing on a certain mission
#1
So, I've enjoyed this game so far, PSCX2 runs it perfectly and it's still my favorite version to play this game.

And those of you who have played this game will know that in Las Venturas, in order to plan the Caligula's Casino heist, there's a mission called "Cop Wheels", where you have to steal 4 police bikes placed around the city.

My problem is that when I get near one of these bikes, doesn't matter which one, the game just freezes, it stops, it crashes, all I can do is press F3 to reload a previous save state or quit the game an reload my normal save file, but it doesn't matter because when I start the mission againt it crashes again when I get close to one of the four bikes again.

I've tried saving in another save file and deleting the old one, which is the only solution I could find online, but it doesn't solve the issue.

I've had some crashes like this in my playthrough of San Andreas on PCSX2, but they were random, not cause by anything in particular, and reloading a save file or a save state would always solve the problem.

Now is for something specific, a certain mission where I have to steal some bikes any time I get close enough to one of these bikes, it's always at the same point, and I've tried the only solution that I could find and it doesn't work, that's why I ask for help here.

Any help?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Okay, thanks a lot, really.

Unfortunately I'm not at home now, I'm at work, so I can't check this out right now, but I promise that as soon as I get home I'll take a look at this.

Again, thanks a lot Happy

Okay, finally I could take a look at this, but I can't post here the contents of the emulog because there is no emulog, I go to "Documents/PCSX2/logs" but the folder is empty.

If you're using 1.7.0 nightlies, enable logging first by checking "Tools -> Enable File Logging".
Then run the game again until to the point of your problem.

Okay, thanks, I've done that, now I do have an emulog in that folder, and this is what it says:

Full emulog please
Do it from when you run the emulator
The log should start close to [0.0]

Regarding the first question sorry but I don't know, I really don't know, I don't know what that means or why that happens.

Regarding the second question I've tried that, didn't work.
