Shadow Hearts 2: Covenant missing Combo option

Hi!

I don't really know if it is a problem with the emulator, a weird game glitch, or if I'm dumb and missing something, but it doesn't hurt to ask:

The option to do combos in battle is completely gone!
There's Attack, the characters personal skill, Crest, Item, Defense and Run Away but Combo is nowhere to be found.
The last time I remember using it was on the Wine Cellar boss, now I'm in Florence and the option is still not there.

Started a new game to see if it shows up, and yep, it does! It's so weird.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

I have only the second disk on my laptop and the combo option is here(it is not visible because the game shows only 3 options and combo is the 4th(you have to press down 4 times or up up once to see the other menus)

The thing I don't remember is if that option is avaliable from the begining of the game or\and if can do combos with...I forget his name(Karin and other other guy at the begining of the game,not Yuri)

That option is available from the 2nd tutorial battle onward. And yes, should be on the 2nd page, but unlike your screenshot, it's missing in mine.

Try running directly from your disk?

Still the same.

Can a savestate break a game in this form? The only thing I remember happening between the last time using a combo and seeing it missing was loading a savestate that was in the middle of a battle. It was a battle with a wolf, so a 1vs1 battle, where the Combo command is, I think, missing.

Did you tried saving to the memory card,restart pcsx2 and load your save from the card(not save state)

I did, but nothing changes unfortunately. The new game works flawlessly, it really looks like the save is broken.
Ugh...I really don't want to restart it again...

If anyone wants to test it and see if it happens in their game, here's the memory card: It's the first save lv. 11.

Did you used any cheats since you started the game.
I loaded your save and the option is missing but I see that you have a lot of fusions on Yuri and I'm not sure if that's possible at that point of the game unless it's new game+
I have a save at the same location(but new game+)at lv9 and that menu is there

Yeah, I used a Max Souls cheat. Don't think it's because of that though, since I used it after that.

Your save is tempting, but I'm already close to where I was on my new save.
I'm just gonna play safe and avoid cheats and save states for this one.
