Slight controller issues
#1
I'm having some trouble setting up my controller in Lilypad (0.11.0). It comes up as a generic Logitech controller and it pretty much is.

Now the issue is that the the analogs will not map correctly. The X axis will come up for Y axis movement or the direction i want to map will not pick up at all. When testing the devices the values are correct, but the mapping itself is always incorrect, which makes it impossible to set them up. Now, this controller comes with a switch that exchanges the functionality of the Dpad with the Left Analog, and i thought i could use that to avoid the problem but the exact same thing happens.

So, i'll need a way to directly map a controller control to a PS2 control without having to expect it to be picked up automatically when i press it. Any ideas? I'd rather avoid having to look into the .ini itself and hope i get it right.

Does the controller have a switch on the back to let you choose between DirectInput and Xinput?

Oh OK. It's just that my friend has some Logitech gamepads (the F310 - http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/f310-gamepad) and those have a switch in the back. It was worth a shot. Smile

Have you installed drivers for that controller? I know some controllers will work without drivers, but installing them might fix this, if you haven't already.

Afaik it worked before with PCSX2 just fine. Is there by any chance an update in the GIT repo that affected lilypad somehow?

I don't think lilypad has been updated in a while. But to check, you can test your control with 1.2.1 stable. If it works there, then we will know it's PCSX2. If not, we will know it's your controller or configuration thereof.

Dude you need to chill out a little bit. Nobody has been disrespectful to you, in fact the only person I see being disrespectful here is you.
