I used the Smackdown Here comes the Pain(PAL) DVD and configured everything. But on the load in the prompt it showed "Unknown cd type".
When i used another copy it loaded(but the cd is faulty). I think the another copy is NTSC. Is there any problem with it differing from NTSC and PAL?

maybe you should dump an ISO from your DVD using a soft like imgburn.
then try again

Code: PCSX2 0.9.6 - compiled on Feb 27 2009 This is what i get in the console and a blank output screen.

This almost looks like a bad rip.
Redo the iso using imgburn please, then play it using linuz cdvd.

I used imgburn and then used Linuz plugin and the plugin shows -
Code: * PCSX2 *: ExecuteBios Complete

I don't remember having that "codewarrior stuff in my console...
Where does that pcsx2 version come from ?

So it still stops/crashes after printing that?
The rip seems to be good this time, so there could be a problem with your emulator configuration. Do other games work for you? |
