Hello. I just got a Hp Pavilion notebook and was wondering If pcsx2 will work at a nice speed.

Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200

Processor: AMD Turion™ II Ultra Dual-core Mobility M620 2.50 GHz

RAM 4.00 GB

OS: Win 7

Hello I just wondering, how hard it is to try it yourself if you already got the system?

For the sake of this thread I'll predict that it'll run about fullspeed to acceptably slow, depending on the game.

Not the replay i was wanting but ok. Will it run Persona 3 FES? Cuz I'm having a hard time get it to run nice. Can you tell me witch settings I should try.

Well the usual tips will be :
1. Use pcsx2 latest beta
2. Play with speedhack
3. Lower your gsdx resolution or use native
4. Overclock- which I advise NOT for laptop

Will PCSX2 run great on my computer? I've tested Twisted Metal: Head-On and it goes like half speed with default settings, and the text in the beginning is flashing and it is a line that goes vertical in the game.

My spec:
Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+
4GBs RAM
Windows Vista™ Home Premium 64-Bits

I'm actually thinking of getting an HP pavilion notebook as well but with the 520 processor instead (2.3 Ghz I believe). Same graphics card (hd 4200) though. Could I still run FFX with it? And maybe even FFX-2?

EDIT: To the guy above: most definitely great I assume, but settings depend on the game I guess.
