Read first: Will PCSX2 run fast on my computer?
Hmm... I was wondering if any upgrade to my comptuer would do any major impacts on the most demanding games.
I would like to have the processor name and/or motherboard if it can be upgraded ^^

And when I tested something out... i found out that without speed hacks except MTVU activated does lag less than any speed hack on.
My FX-4100 @ 5Ghz lagged more than this Xeon on Xenosaga 1 and Need for speed Underground 2.

CPU : Xeon E5-2643
MoBo : ASRock X79 Extreme6
GPU : EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX
RAM : 22GB Kingston 1333Mhz
My specs atm :

The emulator works very slowly on my computer. I thought I met the minimum requirements, but now I'm not so sure Wacko

CPU: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU T4300 @ 2.10GHz
RAM: 3.1 GB
Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650
Sound Card: IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

(I didn't remember my system specs, got them from http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri )

(Also, I'm using a laptop).

Is there any way the emulator will run at a normal speed on my computer?

Thanks ^^!

nope.
better think about getting a decent machine or play on your PS2 instead.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

All the minimum requirements mean is that you can run the emulator but that doesn't mean full speed. Your CPU has a very low clock speed and it wont fair well with PCSX2. If specific help a game just open your own thread.

Question
Hello.
Can my computer run The Simpsons: Hit and Run, James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing, Simpsons Skateboarding and/or FIFA Street at native resolution (with an acceptable framerate)? If I can, do I need special settings?

Specs:

Computer: MacBook Pro
OS: Mac OS X v10.8.5 (Mountain Lion)
pcsx2 version: 0.9.8
Processor: Intel Core i5 At 2.5 GHz
RAM: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB
Total number of cores: 2

Not sure if it matters, but here's some info on my display.

Display Type: LCD
Resolution: 1280 x 800
Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Colour

Thanks.

Well... maybe if you're lucky. The processor is so so and might get buy with some speedhacks. The GPU is very weak and might be okay at native... maybe.

It's certainly not an ideal setup for maximum experience though >_<

Hi, I just started using the emulator, and it seems that I've seen some videos, and the game in question was Kingdom Hearts 2.

From what I have seen from specs, I might not be able to get games to run perfectly on my laptop. I just have weird slowdowns with audio and movies, and I haven't actually moved passed that because I want to fix the issue.

My specs:

Card name: Mobile Intel® HD Graphics
Current Mode: 1600 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Card name: Mobile Intel® HD Graphics
Display Memory: 786 MB
Dedicated Memory: 1068 MB
Shared Memory: 3813 MB
Or rather 8GB of RAM
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

Bad GPU, and a CPU a bit under the par.
many games will have slowdowns mainly because of your GPU...

Your computer should be fast enough. Make sure that your power plan is set to "High Performance."

If you are having crashing problems, run in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
