A gtx 570 should be ok.
But no gpu will allow you to play all games @ 1080p.
Just because the emulator cant do it...

Oh right thanks for that, i only play a few ps2 games on my Gaming PC right now at 1080 60fps, i'm just planning on building a custom Emulation PC for the lounge, Saves me moving my gaming pc all the time.

Anyways, Jeslalvein's right about some games not being able to be run @ 1080p due to emulation bugs that require the use of the software renderer which can only do native resolution.

There are also some really gpu demaning games like GT4, NFS U2, and Armored Core: Last Raven

this will do just fine in pcsx2 for pretty much anything that you can throw at it.

Lol.... just brought a r9 290 for my brothers build. ..... is the 280 not over kill?

A GTX 750 ti would also work just fine for most games.
