I wanted to play Final Fantasy X or Final Fantasy X-2 and I was wondering if my computer would be ok to run any of these 2 games.
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS (512MB) Processor: Intel Celeron 2.80GHz (single core) Memory: 2048MB RAM OS: Windows XP If it won't run, do I need to play with PCSX2 settings or is my PC just too slow even if I played with settings and plugins? Thanx u in advance

I'm certain your processor is very slow for PCSX2. Your graphics card isn't too good either, but may (barely) work, if your processor were better (at least x2 threads, i.e. HyperThreading).
Why not try anyways? I think your processor has SSE2. CPU-World has your CPU listed with SSE2. You can try, just make sure you use just about every speedhack to get the best speed possible.
It is an:
Name: Intel Celeron 336 (Intel Celeron D) Package: Socket 775 LGA Intel Family Name: Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 9 Intel Codename: Prescott Supported Multimedia Instructions: MMX, SSE1, SSE2 & SSE3 Hyperthread Technology: No Would it run? SPEEDHACKS: Just to be sure, do you mean PCSX2 Speedhacks? Thank u all

Yes.
Intel E5700 @3.0Ghz,
Xfx Radeon 5670 1Gb, 4Gb DDR3 Ram, Microsoft Windows7 Ultimate x86
Hey, that's not a single core! That'll be better than I've previouly stated.
EDIT: No, that "two Intel EMT 64 cores". Jumped the gun a bit. Still single-core, but better than what I understood you to have originally! |
