ive currently got:

i get between 35-55 fps with ffx on average same with DBZ budokai 2

Very big if you use native resolution in GSdx.
this is only my harsh calculation. (not sure if this right, though)
pentium 4ht with 3.0ghz = dual core@ 2.0 = core2duo @ 1.8. But your current GPU sure help a lot. and it will be great if you use it with the OC-ed Core2duo .

Hope you have a good cooling system... otherwise the only diference you'll notice is a burned CPU Tongue
Also have in mind pcsx2 likes high clocked CPUs so even that core 2 duo e6400 @ 2.13Ghz isn't the best for pcsx2 =S. (Recommended: C2D 3,2Ghz) You should definitely OC it, if possible ofc Smile

lol just found out i cant oc through bios or software cause ive got a dell with a pll that doesnt have capabilities Sad

i can bsel mod the c2d though

but if that fails would there still be a noticible difference from the P4?

edit..forgot to say ive got a q965 chipset so the best proc i can get is a e6700 at 2.67Ghz nothing newer. but im getting the e6400 for 30 gbp so i thought id just get it.
