And -what- are the specific games that require the most power, since I cannot find anyone mentioning which specific game(s) require a lot of power to use.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (OCing)
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: 8GB DDR3
GPU: Radeon HD 7850 2GB

Ohmy I am getting the EXACT same build next week! Cannot wait!!

From what I can see by looking at the first post here, our PC should be able to play everything very well.

Quad core processor is perfect since PCSX2 is supposedly only good for 2-3 cores, so anything over 4 is kinda wasted.

The graphics card can, judging by youtube videos, play modern games such as GTA4 at Ultra settings 30fps + so I imagine it can handle this fairly well, also the lowest reccommended card is Radeon HD4400 or something like that which is waay below our 7850.

As for most demanding, I don't know. Probably ones that are rendered in higher resolutions like Gran Tourismo 4? Or maybe the large games like San Andreas. Either way I think we can handle anything Smile

Couldn't find my processor/graphics card in that list

AMD Athlon™ II X2 250 Processor (2 CPUs), ~ 3.0 GHz

ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics

Any ideas if that'll work?

If that's the integrated Radeon 3000 on your motherboard;
No-- it will cause lots of slow gameplay.

That processor will do alright with a fair amount of games,
but it will need a decent GPU along side it.

I recommend a modern GPU with at least a 128-bit memory bus width,
and no less than a DDR3 data rate.

some low demanding games should work pretty well.
but 2.2 Ghz isn't enough for most games. And that GPU won't help either.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
