Just install MSI Afterburner from this site:
http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm Then set your Core Clock to 700Mhz and your Memory clock to 900Mhz. After you've done that, start your game again and see if the error is gone.

alright, thats the idle/2d voltage now load up firefox 4 or something to switch the performance state and lets see the GPUC then.
looks like gpu-z was right then, but 1.000 is rather low for a 580. like rama said, get afterburner, and underclock to test, or use 1.025 for the voltage. (04-22-2011, 09:32 PM)rama Wrote: Just install MSI Afterburner from this site: the lowest value and 1005 I can not go lower

voltage control is enabled in afterburner in the settings screen by ticking unlock voltage control.

Squall: Please don't advise him to play with the voltages. He's obviously not used to this stuff and the damage you can cause with voltage controls is huge.
Snipy44: Just test it with the reduced Core Clock then. See if the game looks fixed or if the error is still the same.
