Trouble with starting game
#1
Hey, i'm having some difficultly playing MGS3 subsistence on PCSX2, i'm not using an ISO as i'm using the original disk( I know that ripping the ISO from the disk is recommended but I don't want to mess with that as i'm new to emulation) I've gotten the game to where it shows the Konami logo and the Kojima productions logo, but after that it just stays black no matter how long I wait. I've tried running from full and fast, but both have the same result, Suggestions?

Specs
Processor: AMD FX™-6300 Six-Core Processor, 3500 Mhz, 3 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s)
GPU: Nvidia 1060 3GB
Ram: 12GB DDR3
OS:Windows 7 x64 bit

From the console window enable DVD Reads and try the game again.
If you see some CDVD Read Error, then there is something wrong with your disk(scratched for example)

Post the whole log after that
Also are you using any non default settings?
Also that game may be little too much for your CPU

Here's the log from the console you asked for, and no, I don't believe i'm using any non-default settings. Thanks. It may just be my computer not being able to run it.

You can try 3 things

1.Try the latest beta
https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/
2.Use OpenGL from the GSdx settings(you have nvidia card so it's recommended to use it)
3.If it's still not working, you can try making an image with ImgBurn(I don't see anything wrong in the log)
