Where do I go to find hide file extensions for known file types option?

So i`ve been having a problem that`s sort of like this one http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-WHY-IS-MY...UND?page=2 but since it was closed I couldn`t say Where do I find file extension for known files. So is anyone able to help me out with that?

that's another problem.
can you please show uswhat exactly happens ? (screenshots) what you do, what you can't do ? which error mesage you get ? post the emulog.txt ?
