XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
OK so try this: Uninstall EVERYTHING relating to your DS3 (including SCP) and restart your computer. Then, plug in your DS3 using your USB cable and see what happens. Does it try to install the drivers for it? Does your OS make a sound recognizing that you plugged it in? Does the DS3 start charging?

I was using the XInput Wrapper for my DS3 controller for a good 3 months and it worked flawlessly. Then my controller began to stop responding in the middle of my games. At first it was only for a few seconds and then it continued to get progressively longer until it no longer worked. I've been trying to fix this problem on my own for a little over a week now but made no progress. I tried uninstalling all the drivers and then reinstalling them. I got a new dongle, I got a new controller but to no avail. I think it may have to do with the fact that I am using a usb dongle and not a bluetooth one but I'm really not sure. One odd thing is that while checking the controller in the device manager they respond perfectly but then as soon as I launch a game it shuts off.
PLEASE HELP!
I'M LOOSING MY MIND

So any ideas?
My control does not respond well, impossible to play assasins creed black flag, any help?

More info would help. Are you using a USB cable or Bluetooth? Have you ever had MiJ installed? Does the DS3 work well on other games?

Anyone know why sometimes the program just breaks. As in, it doesn't want to connect my PS3 controller when I start my PC. To be able to connect to with bluetooth/cable I always have to start "ScpServer.exe" everytime.

I just tried setting access for the programs in my firewall/virusscanner but that didn't help. This isn't the first time I have this problem, I think I just used "ScpDriver.exe" and installed everything again to make it work previous time, but it doesn't help now. Maybe I'll try a clean uninstall if nobody knows an easier way to make it work again...

I am using a bluetoot but usb does the same thing, since I had the MIJ installed, DS3 work well on other games, but in assasins creed 4 does not respond well, but same times respond well.
Are you sure you uninstalled MiJ completely?

I agree with you, I think you should uninstall and then try a clean install. Please follow the instructions in my thread:

Wait hold on, are you using SCP or MiJ to make your DS3 work with AC4?
