XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
Hi there,

These drivers are working perfectly on my computer therefore I must thank you for this.

However, I can't make it work on my laptop, and I get the following error :

"
SCP Filter Driver Installer 2.2.1.87

Detected - Microsoft Windows7 dition Familiale Premium Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601.65536 AMD64)
Could not find a valid configuration.
"

Also I searched in this thread but I didn't find any answer, in my case the software is working as it should in 64-bit.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nah, I don't need all of that customizability, I vastly prefer the simple and clean way this driver works. Just saying that it's possible.

Xbox 360 controller mode does just that: act like a Xbox 360 controller. The other mode is specifically play station 3 controller mode, which does motion as well as regular button input, but in that mode it is not seen as an Xbox 360 controller. Alot of games would have to be manually configured, and Scarlet's driver is nice not only for its stability and no extra bullcrap and headaches that came with motioninjoy (serious scarlet, THANK YOU for this), but the convenience. I get wanting to add the extra funcionality, but scarlet has stated already several times that he has no current interest in motion controls.

I actually have never tried replacing stick input with motion in MiJ, but what I have done is remap buttons on the controller, and it is still absolutely recognized as a 360 controller. Buttons can be remapped in the 360 emulation mode just as they can in the other controller modes. Mapping motion to some input is just another variation of this.

If i get some free time i will make a video showing what i mean and how i have got it working.
Anyone could help me?
My post: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...#pid293441

My apologies for being unpatient, yet I really want to play my game..
This thread is about drivers to make a PS3 controller working on your PC. Just download the last version from the 1st post, unzip then open : bin > system > SCPFilterDriver.exe, this should install the drivers for your controller and you are done.

Also if you got motioninjoy drivers before you have to uninstall it previously.

Then I don't really know what you want to do with PCSX2 which is a playstation 2 emulator but I'm not really the best to help you about that.
Spriteman: you need to use the lilypad plugin (I think) for pcsx2. I'm sure if you google it, search on These forums, or YouTube it, you can find some sort of step by step guide. Smile

@carnrigen: since I found Scarlet's drivers I haven't looked back at motioninjoy, so I honestly don't remember what it can and can't do. What I do remember is the headaches of using those drivers, and what I'm saying is that while motioninjoy does have various controller modes, its ps3 controller mode was the only one recognizing motion controls. Ps2 controller mode, nor the other modes do not. Also, while in the ps3 controller mode, I don't recall it being seen as an Xbox controller in windows, or games. Meaning that while you can still configure input, not as many games recognized the controller as an Xbox controller and already had input controls set up, UNLESS you put motioninjoy in Xbox 360 controller mode.

Again, maybe I am wrong? It's been awhile and I don't remember what motioninjoy had to offer...

Ah, see I posted my previous message since I have literally done what you just wrote... And my PS3 controller just won't work.

Weirdly enough, when I tried using MotioninJoy last time, it couldn't detect my controller at all, even though my PC has detected it without any problems.

I have uninstalled MotioninJoy and any "Greyed out" drivers in device manager.
Maybe I have placed the XInput1_3.dll wrong?
I've placed it in D:/..../Dark Souls PTDE/DATA/ (This is where the .exe of the game is located).
So I am not sure how to make this work..

I have researched a little, and I do not use PCSX2... And do not have to.
Although thanks for replying!
How do you get this to work in regular pc games?
Intel Core i5 3570k @ 4.4 Ghz
Asrock Z75 Pro3
Samsung 30nm 8GB DDR3
Radeon HD 6850
CM Hyper 212 Evo
@soyo: easiest way to get XInput (w/ Rumble) working on PCSX2 is to use KrossX's Pokopom plugin.

@all: I won't be adding motion support for the 1.0 Release, features & gui are now frozen as I am testing 1.0 binaries. I may look into it in the future.

@SlasherIT: added your hardware id, see Post #639.

@DualShocked: the OS detection may not work correctly for non-English languages.

@SpriteMan: Dark Souls has compatibility issues with the XInput Wrapper. I suggest you install the Driver Package in Post #639, as this provides Native XInput and works with any XInput game.

@Jman12311: as above ^.
Well, that's unfortunate I guess...
