XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
Help. I was using the controller with bluetooth in the past with this installation of Windows 8.1, but now, for some reason it stopped working. I install it and it says it installed the bluetooth driver, but as soon as I unplug it from usb, it just flashes until it shuts off. It would always pair at that part. Here is my most recent installation log:

Everything looks good, but it just doesn't connect... Sad

It seems like this line is causing the problem:

INFO - Marked Phantom Device with Hardware/Compatible Id 'USB\VID_054C&PID_0268&REV_0100' for reinstall on next plug-in.

funny thing is, it's a built-in bluetooth dongle so it's always "plugged in" plus my bluetooth mouse works fine with the default bluetooth drivers, so I don't know what to do...

Someone else had the same line, but it was regarded as an incompatible dongle BUT I've been using it a lot in the past, so I know my dongle is definitely compatible.
Hey Scarlet,

Could you add support to bluetooth hardware
"USB\VID_0930&PID_0A05." Thank you for the awesome software.

YESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOUND A SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM!!!! Biggrin Biggrin Biggrin

Install the driver without the controller connected, then plug it in and install it again. Then I don't get the error. Gosh that was a tough issue to solve since no one has found a solution to this problem before (except the incompatibility excuse)
This driver has always worked for me in the past months, but now it has suddenly stopped working.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the driver, reinstalling the required software and restarting my computer between all of these steps.

When connected, the PS3 controller will blink all four lights slowly and then eventually stop.

In Window's Device Manager my controller is recognized as a "PLAYSTATION®3 Controller" under the driver Provider: Scarlet.Crush Productions.

I REALLY do not want to go back to MotionJoy, but their software is actually working. Is there any help?

Have you tried my solution above? If that doesn't work, it might be a different problem, but you should try it first, fixed the problem for me.
I cannot get this to work, I have followed all the instructions and it shows that no controller is connected. What may be the problem is that I am trying to get this to work with just the USB cable, as I do not have a dongle, and am just keeping the controller connected via USB- however, the pad still doesn't work. MotioninJoy and BetterDS3 both give me BSODs, this was supposed to be the solution!

NVM: fixed it by unchecking bluetooth driver when installing

Yeah I did before I posted, I was really excited when I saw that you had a similar problem.

What steps did you take to fix it?

Did you run the driver, install, then plugged in your controller then reinstalled? Or did you close and re open the driver after plugging in the controller?
Do I need to restart my computer at any time?
motioninjoy enables the ps3 home button and sixaxis.

seems like this xinput disables home button and sixaxis.

is a way to enable those? useful to have those extra assignable buttons, for example assign them extra functions/macros in xpadder
Hmm... I'm having a problem. I've done everything I needed to do, install and calibrate and stuff, no errors whatsoever. But when I launch KH2 the left analog stick won't work right and down and the right analog stick won't work left right and up. I'm using DS3 and have installed all the correct drivers. Any help?
