Hi!
I installed XW DS3 drivers at my Win 8.1 32-bit tablet and at Win 8.1 64-bit desktop PC. On the tablet all functions work perfect but I can't say the same about my desktop PC. I have no troubles using USB connection but when I try to connect through Bluetooth (same dongle model as working on tablet) it looks like my pads can't be paired neither automatically nor with SCP Pair tool. Here is what I see in my configuration (look at screenshot). I installed drivers following instructions from the first thread message. Especially tried create folders using command-line with administrator privileges. Tried different speed USB ports and two pads as you see. Also tried force install. But still no success. Please help!

I am having an issue with this. It does not seem to auto startup after I restart windows. If I unistall it and reinstall it. It runs fine in the background no issues.
If I then restart my pc it wont work and I need to startup scpserver and leave it open for it to work. Any way to make sure the service auto starts?

Hey guys, i'm looking for a new bluetooth adaptor for my PC, the one i have seriously sucks (input lag for 2 controllers is a no no)
Does anyone here know of any bluetooth dongles that can handle 4 DS3's without (or very little when you have all 4) input lag? Currently looking at this one here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...-_-Product But my last one was a $20 rocketfish, so i can only imagine that this sadly isn't much better :/

However I have only tested it on 3 simultaneous controllers, and that was just once or twice. The only issue I have had is; the dongle seems to want to have a clear path to the controller, if anything gets between the controller and the dongle, communication is lost (using a rear USB port wasn't an option). This may be unique to my setup though... Any bluetooth V2+EDR usb dongle is rated for up to 3 Mbit/s, a V3 bluetooth dongle like this one here : SMK LINK NANO promises transfer speeds of 24 Mbit/s, but uses different technology and may not work with this wrapper (a question for someone else). My advice would be to go with a reputable brand, and buy it from a vendor that has a good return policy! Good luck!

I don't mean to nag.... but will the DS4 touch-pad input be supported at some point?

My other adapter does that, I wonder what for.. the losing connection if it's behind the PC With those 3 controllers hooked up what game were you playing? Cause like i said i've run into issues playing DBZ Tenkaichi 2 with just two players with my current one, But if i play Mario Party 7 unless i'm doing something like the boulder smash minigame it works fine with up to 4

I just wanted to post this just in case anyone else had this problem before its about re-paring your controller to your ps3 after already having it paired with the scp dedicated bluetooth.
I will update this with more clarification when I figure it out exactly but for now: IT is possible....BUT, you must not turn off the computer, or shut down scp service/ eject the dongle, while it is paired with the ps3. When you are finished using the ps3 you must pair it back to your pc by plugging it in back via usb and then disconnecting it so that it may find the dongle once again. I've found that for some reason after extended periods of time that I've had my ps3 pair with the ds3 controller and my computer being shut off in that time frame that when I try to pair it back, the controller will not find the dongle agian. I had to remove all drivers relating to the dongle, reinstall the default drivers then override them with zadig before the controller was able to find it again. The dongle I was using is the ASUS USB-BT400, with the ID - USB\VID_0B05$PID_17CB. I'm going to test tommorow a series of circumstances to see if I can pinpoint what exactly will cause the controller not to be able to pair back to the pc. I hope this helps anybody |
