I see, its just odd that I can use it fine while USB connected, but not without it, as I thought the ps3 controller doesn't transfer any data over usb, it just charges it.

Are you using Steam? If so:
Steam has a large controller support library that could potentially cause a conflict between your keyboard/controller. This wouldn't be the case if you have tried a non-steam supported game/program (e.g. PCSX2) and it still caused the issue.

OR

Are you using Raptr? If so:
Logitech software has a -very- common issue with Raptr if you use that program.

OR

Did BattleBlock Theater update -any- of the dependencies for either your G510 or the SCP DS3 XInput Wrapper (e.g. visual C redistributable) If so:
This would cause a different kind of conflict and uninstalling/reinstalling whichever dependency BattleBlock Theater overwrote from the official microsoft download site will almost certainly fix the issue (but probably break BattleBlock Theater).

Unfortunately I don't own a G510 so I won't have much information to offer if none of those is the case. You might consider contacting logitech support and not mentioning the PS3 controller until they ask after viewing their logs, they might be able to pin down the issue.

Holy crap, I figured it out, I think. When I plugged in my Ohms tester (for E-Cig Mechanical mod), I can shake the thing and it would power off and power on. It's the damn cord... Tried it on both USB ports on the "hub" on the IO port, and on the front panel too. All ports reacted the same when i shook it. I think a different cord will help.

God I feel like a complete idiot right now :/
Hi, I need help.

I installed the drivers and everything, using the controller with a USB cord worked fine, but when I unplugged it to try and use it wirelessly via Bluetooth,
Pad 1 in the SCP Monitor just says: 38:C0:96:E6:0D:B4 - BTH 00000000 None, and it doesn't detect the controller input.

Uninstall the drivers (run the program as administrator), then reinstall the drivers using with the "Bluetooth Driver" box checked. WARNING: That BT dongle will only work for the controllers after that. So don't plan on using it for other devices after installing the drivers. Here's a great youtube video to check out for installing the drivers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpSaOJJIun8

I already tried uninstalling then reinstalling, didn't work. (And yeah, Bluetooth Driver was checked ofc). And that's the video I actually followed to do this, controller via USB cable was working fine, using it wirelessly with Bluetooth is my only problem, though Sad.
My installer is only installing the bus device, I noticed some errors in this log, but not sure what they mean.

Hello

I need help, my controller does not rumble when using it over bluetooth, wired it works.

What should I do?
Im using DS3 (clone) model no CECHZC2H
and it's work fine on ps3
the problem is my pc win7 won't recognized as ps3 gamepad and even the ScpDriver didn't install the drive for it.
i tried to play with file Ds3WinUsb.inf and add my ps3 controller usb device ID which is this

%DeviceName% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0E8F&PID_0208

but even with that it didn't work Sad
i know it's only works with the Genuine Sony DualShock3 controller but it got to be someway to make it work
help plz

The biggest issue with X360 controllers is their handling of Triggers in DInput - they are both mapped to the Z axis (Z-,Z+) so only one can be active, and not usable as buttons in most DInput games.

What I'm thinking of doing is making the Virtual Bus capable of handling 3 device types, and being able to switch between them from ScpMonitor.
1. X360 Profile (current implementation).
2. DInput pad with Triggers mapped to separate axis (Z, Rz).
3. DInput pad with Triggers mapped to buttons.

I'm also going to be looking into supporting the PS3 BD Remote Control as a Keyboard/Mouse device. This will require a button mapping feature, which could be leveraged for use with pads (possibly including motion controls).

@Ocitda: right-click on the directory and select Properties, select the Security tab. In the list of users select SYSTEM, if the permissions list does not contain Full Control or has Write ticked in the Deny column - click Edit and change.

Hi, I'm just wondering if you are still thinking of supporting the PS3 BD remote? Thanks
