I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and installed the Xbox controller drivers and followed the instructions from the first post but I still can't get this to work. Can anyone help?

This is what I get after a force install. Only the DS3 USB Driver installs otherwise.

Hey,

I just built a new computer for my brother and went to install SCP on it. For some reason, the controllers won't connect to the bluetooth. The SCP Monitor shows my host address and the controllers connected over usb. When I unplug them, it momentarily shows "Reserved" in the controller slot and then changes to "BTH 00000000 None" instead of counting down the battery like it should.

The ScpServer shows the host as disconnected.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I have the same problem. my control is CECHZC2M,
I...:

install scpdriver.exe (bluetooth and service)
i run scpmonitor.exe and i can configure all buttons and axis, all ok.. and appears this:

then unplug the usb- all leds flashes- i press l1 l2 ps button- and it says Reserved. 2 seconds later appears this:

led 1 on(no flash).

My usb dongle is this
Windows 8.1 64 bits
my ds3 is full charge

all work fine, but Bluetooth still not work:
Pad1 DS3 04:98:f3:5c:c5:0b - BTH 00000000 None

Please help me. Sorry for my bad bad bad so bad English.

EDIT: i can understad all you write, but y cant write in English
I have a laptop with an embedded bluetooth 2.0 adapter, which I believe is also my WiFi adapter (strangely enough).
Would be a waste of money to buy an external dongle, and an even bigger hassle using my PS3 controller as a wired controller
(since my laptop only has 2 USB ports, and I don't own a hub). I was wondering if it would be possible to support my adapter?
Last I remember, Widcomm/Broadcom supplies a free bluetooth SDK for devs, and I'd happily do it myself but I'm having
trouble getting the Win32 DDK to install without errors on my dev machine (which, I'd imagine, is a necessary dependency).
Not sure what the actual issue is, but I think it has something to do with having both MSVC 2010 and 2012 Ultimate installed on the same machine.

Anyway, here are my specs:

Quote:Display name:
Apple Broadcom Built-in Bluetooth

Location information:
Port_#0003.Hub_#0005

Hardware Ids:
USB\VID_05AC&PID_8218&REV_0042
USB\VID_05AC&PID_8218

Parent:
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_4500\6&5ea421d&0&1

Children:

BTH\MS_BTHBRB\8&16921374&0&1
BTH\MS_BTHPAN\8&16921374&0&2

EDIT:
After following the instructions in this post, as well as tweaking a few minor details, I was actually able to get my PS3 controller to cooperate with my internal bluetooth adapter...
this has probably been asked/answered before but since this thread is so big I thought I'd ask anyway.

does this tool support the move controllers (more importantly the navigation controller)? i'd like to be able to use the navigation controller along with my mouse for games instead of using a keyboard. best of both worlds i think Smile

I've been thinking about getting the Venom X to do this but if I can do it with a Move Navigation Controller then I'll gladly do it and save some money Smile

Hi I checked your log and I believe this is the issue:

INFO - Will force install because driver is not better and force flag is set.

Per Scarlet.Crush force install should only be used for Windows XP/Vista. Your install log indicates that you're using windows 8 pro (x64). Do not use force install.

Additionally, when you run the installation please run it by right clicking and checking "run as administrator"

These are the steps you should take:
uninstall the ScpDriver and close the program
right click "ScpDriver.exe"
choose "Run as Administrator"
Be sure these these boxes are checked: "Configure Service"
REMOVE checks from these boxes: "Force Install", "Bluetooth Driver"
Click Install.

If you still have issues while not using force install and running as administrator please reply back with an updated log.

if you end up wanting the bluetooth driver later re-run the setup in the same way except be sure "Bluetooth Driver" is checked.

@ everyone using "force install":
"force install" is only meant for XP/Vista. If you are running a version of windows other than XP/Vista you do not need force install, it will (almost certainly) cause problems when installing. try without force install and running as admin.
Is there a wau to make it work on Bluetooth for this device ID USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC ???

Not necessary true. I'm on win7 and my bluetooth works only with force install. Sure, shouldn't be used without a reason but is not bad as you say.
