RestartSrDev looks for a specific error code and it did not work out for me. I'll look into other tools. There are very useful tools, thank you!

"Check for hardware changes" didn't work and the device is already in Device Manager.
When I check task manager, I can see the Server running but oddly, it does not recognize a dongle which was plugged in before boot.
Hey I have a problem. The SCPDriver doesn't install the drivers properly. I'm using an original PS3 controller. On my PC with win7 it works fine, even the bluetooth donglŠµ, but on the laptop with win8 it doesn't even install the DS3 USB Driver. Windows recognizes the controller as an original PS3 one, but it doesn't respond. Also when I try the XInput controller tester it just connects and disconnects constantly. I have only USB 3.0 if that's the problem. I have no idea what to do.
i did everything in the topic and it worked but i connected the ps3 controller by Bluetooth, is there a way to change it back and connect normal Bluetooth devices to my laptop?
I have a cheap pc gamepad, it accidentally worked with motioninjoy (http://ngemu.com/threads/how-to-fool-win...one.171425)
It works without any errors.
But I don't like motioninjoy ( it names gamepads "xbox360 receiver) , It has some issues.
I know your program is way better, but i can't use it.
It do not detect my gamepad, I tried adding my gamepad's vid/pid to Ds3WinUsb.inf file.
It installs now (with force install checked).
But the gamepad is not working.
It shows everythings(way way better than motioninjoy)
It shows a real xbox360 controller for windows in devices and printers page.
But buttons are not working.
I know you can help me fixing this if you want.

Try disabling it in the Device Manager then enable it. That will probably do it.

Use the zadig tool to force install. There are instructions on the first post.

You can switch back doing this.

Maybe you paired your bluetooth adapter with ds4 and because of that, you couldn't pair it with ds3. Did you try to uninstall and reinstall with ds3 connected? I don't know if it is possible to pair adapter with ds4 and ds3 both.

Doesn't work. It says "Driver Installation: FAILED (Other Error)". I tried an older version, a newer version and they all say the same thing.
