XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
Same issue as scythe, using the correct plugin and x input, as well as right version of pcsx2.
Still greyed out.
Also likes to crash if controller is on before start up.

Hi there!

After much deliberation and searching on this humongous thread, I decided to post, because I can't seem to sort out my issue.

My current setup includes Windows 7 x64, a USB\VID_0B05&PID_179C Bluetooth device (integrated), and a DS4 controller.

Scpserver is installed properly, latest version (update), and everything works fine most of the time, but sometimes, the link between my DS4 and PC stops (this has only happened while using Dolphin (current version: 4.0.6711) afaik):

- Lightbar is stuck (I have to press the reset button on the DS4)
- Won't reconnect over bluetooth (but USB is fine).
- Any subsequent attempt to disable/restart the BTH DS3 device will result in a "device could not start (error 10)".
- Restarting Windows fixes the issue.

I'd be glad to provide some logs if necessary... Can anybody help? Please?

I know it's not likely, but I want to say both of the bluetooth adapters I'm using are causing the issue. The one on my desktop is obviously causing an issue and the one on my laptop is integrated, not a dongle. I'm going to wait on a third 4.0 dongle to see if that changes anything. I'm curious to see if this controller will connect to a genuine PS3. I may go on a hunt to test this before the other dongle arrives.

Bluetooth drivers have installed correctly right? and its mac address is detected in scp (monitor or server)?

I also have doubt about your desktop bluetooth dongle but laptops integrated looks fine , atleast looking at the logs.

One more thing, if you have a android device and a usb host cable, you can use Sixaxis Compatibility Checker app to test your ds3 controller. I did it the very first time to test my controller and it worked fine then I started to dig in PC.

Install the app, run the app, click start, connect the ds3 to android device using host cable, click pair and once paired, unplug. If controller is good, it should connect to android device via bluetooth (blinking leds to single led) within few sec. If you don't have host cable, you can use ScpPair from SCP program to write mac address into ds3. Use the mac address mentioned by Sixaxis app. Just don't let controller turn off otherwise its memory resets.
How to modify ScpControl.dll to make fake DS3 controller working through Bluetooh
(This trick doesn't work for all fake controllers including those that show "Remote [00:00:00:00:00:00]" in log.

Heeeey! That's neat! Paired up no problem with my phone and that app. Good to know it can be used wirelessly with something while I wait for the other dongle. Picked up the full version and its working great with nesoid which inspires confidence.

It's a wonder how easy it works on Android but is a major headache on PC Wacko

Thank you for that! I don't want to wait on shipping for the dongle now since I'm spoiled with the idea it might work.

The desktop bluetooth dongle was 2.0 after all this time thinking it was 3.0. It was acting up alot on Windows 8.1 but had the same results on Windows 7 (short of better stability) when testing it with a few bluetooth devices. Laptop on the other hand works flawlessly with all bluetooth devices I've paired it with before. However, I'm more than willing to throw it under the bus because of Windows's Absolutely Flawless PnP Support (98SE Edition™). I also read that someone else with a PANHAI controller had issues with EDR.

Good to know that you have purchased the app. Indeed it works easily and is a very useful app. I too use it on my mobile and tablet.

I have made another modifications to ScpControl dll. Replaced -ghic to -PANHAI string.

I have not made such modifications to make my controller work but I guess it might work for you. Please try the attached ScpControl dll, especially on your laptop.

Thanks...

Ha, so, point of note for anyone making the switch to Win10 Preview over the next month... When you install Win10, it'll overwrite your BT drivers. To reinstall the SCP driver, you'll have to disable the driver authentication portion of Windows.

Once I realized that (I feel pretty stupid for forgetting about it in the first place), everything is working perfectly again and I am gaming wirelessly once more. Or, well, mostly wireless.

You have PANHAI controller as most of others have but so far it wasn't possible to connect the controller via bluetooth.

I was working with the member Khevarash to get his PANHAI controller connected via bluetooth but it looks like he is busy so didn't responded to my previous post.

I have made a modified scpcontrol dll for you too, see if it works for you. Don't forget to check my previous posts, I have give some useful tips.

Thanks...
