Hello everyone,
I'm currently doing a playthrough of Sly 2 and encountered a problem with the first mission of the second episode.
In this mission you are supposed to take pictures of certain points. The problem is, is that the mission can't be completed because you cannot move forward enough to take the picture. This means the mission cannot be completed.
After some Google-fu I found the following threads were the exact same issue is described:
- https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Invalid-...ves-NTSC-U
- https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Solved-P...e-Ballroom
Here is a video demonstrating the issue (around 01:00):
In all of the linked threads the solution was either the OpenGL renderer instead of DirectX11 or disabling Widescreen Patches.
I have tried out all kinds of different settings (WP on/off, all different renderers, different clamping options, VU0/VU1 settings, you name it).
Unfortunately, none of these things have helped resolve the issue.
Any ideas?
System information:
- i7 5820k
- 32 GB DDR4 RAM
- Nvidia GTX 1080TI with the latest drivers installed
- Windows 10 build 1703
PCSX2 version 1.4.0
Thanks in advance,
mijgame
