Everything is working great now.
Is there a way I can display the FPS on the screen at all times like FRAPS?
What is a good frame rate for a PS2 game?

What is a good internal res setting? (I know the higher the better)
Are there certain combinations that work well, like in standard monitor resolutions, 800x600, 1024x768 ect?
I am having a hard time understanding what those values signify and how they are different from the standard (window) resolution.
(The standard frame rate is 60fps for a PS2 game right)

they are the render res ie PS2 games are rendered around 640x480 and variations there of. If you up the internal display res it likes upping the display res on a pc game vs just making a video fullscreen which is the smae res but just stretched to fit your screen.

For ATI Card if you set internal res. In native res. And you see GPU running below 25% in CCC, probable you WIll see clock GPU at. 300/325mhz (2d running) due autoclock GPU, perhaps you can set for 3d3 internal res to beyond 1024X1024 res. To push clock GPU higher than default clock for 2d running.

@jasperking : yeah me too, especcially after i set and flash for my bios ATI card HD.3870 with RBE program in clock GPU ANd ram speed for low 2d run at.300mhz, high 2d run at.800mhz, low 3d run at.800mhz and high 3d run at.840mhz. Ram speed between 2000mhz to 2500mhz.

Not really but i dont think your gpu will recognize pcsx2 as using 3d unless it is in full screen. This is why the gpu may stay underclocked if you havent changed something to stop that
