I tried to play twisted metal black on pcsx2.
It works but every time I play as a character that has flashing lights on his car, every time it flashes there is a huge glare on the screen which makes it almost impossible to play

Is this with the settings on default?
What are your PC specs?

Try with a (Software) renderer in GSdx.

I tried to run it with the D3D10 software (which I have installed)
But it quits out and gives me this error code

What version of PCSX2 are you using?

Version 0.9.6

Try with the latest beta then:
