did you try setting clamping to full and make sure you are using the latest stable build of pcsx2 which is 1.2.1
Clamping was at full, my build was 1.3.0. Should I download 1.2.1?

yep, it would be worth a try.
Downloaded 1.2.1 but had a small problem, even after transferring my savestates folder and memcard folder the game still said that there is no memory card and loading a state did nothing >.<
